Policies & ADA

NASCAR races can last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, and NHRA races are an all-day (and into the night!) affair. Regardless of your preference, race days are filled with activities for the whole family and you will want to arrive at the track several hours prior to the race.

Gate Admission Policies

To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to Memphis Motorsports Park, please follow these gate admission policies, with the knowledge that all fans entering the facility are subject to search, and all items brought through admission gates will be inspected.

Permitted

YOU MAY enter the grandstands with the following:
  • One (1) cooler or bag, not larger than 8.5 x 8.5 x 12 inches. Must fit within these dimensions and will be checked at admission gates. Examples: hard-sided or soft-sided, insulated cooler (may contain ice), scanner bag, fanny pack, purse, camera bag or diaper bag.
  • One (1) clear plastic bag, not larger than 18 x 18 x 4 inches (may not contain ice).
  • One (1) seat cushion.
  • Binoculars, scanners, headsets or cameras - not in a bag - worn separately over the neck or on the belt are also permitted.
  • The only exceptions to the track’s cooler policy are the Super Chevy Show and the NHRA Nationals event, where coolers are not permitted.

All fans entering the facility with any of the above items must enter through one of the “Bag/Cooler Check” lanes at the admission gates. All admission gates also have Express Lanes for those fans not bringing a cooler or bag into the facility.

Any item deemed oversized or not permitted may not be left at admission gates. Items must be disposed of or returned to vehicle.

Prohibited

YOU MAY NOT enter the grandstands with ANY of the following:
  • Glass bottles or containers, liquor or wine
  • Beer carried as a pack or separately (must be in a cooler or bag)
  • Knives, weapons, umbrellas or fireworks
  • Skateboards, roller blades, bicycles or motorized vehicles (including golf carts, scooters and ATVs)
  • Pets (except service animals assisting those with disabilities)
  • Strollers, ladders, step stools or portable platforms
  • Or any other item determined to be a safety or health risk.

In addition, the following items are prohibited anywhere on Memphis Motorsports Park property: weapons, firearms, fireworks and ground fires.

Re-entry

Re-entry to the track is possible ONLY by obtaining a HAND STAMP from the gate attendant prior to leaving the track. The customer will be advised that re-entry to the track is with stamp and ticket stub. Additionally, coolers will not allowed upon re-entry.

All policies are subject to change without notice, based upon local, state or national security levels. Please contact the Memphis Motorsports Park ticket office for the most up-to-date policies.

Services for Patrons with Disabilities

Accessible (Disabled) Parking
Locations are shown on the facility map for each NASCAR and NHRA event.
To park in the ADA accessible parking areas, the patron must have a permanent state issued handicap hang tag or license plate. These areas will be monitored to assure spaces are being properly used. The person with the disability to whom the plate or hang tag was issued must be the driver of or passenger in the vehicle when the vehicle is parked in parking areas for persons with disabilities.

Seating
Wheelchair accessible seating is available for patrons with disabilities. If you are in need of wheelchair accessible seating, please contact the track Ticket Office at 1-866-40-SPEED. Wheelchair access is available to grandstand J. There is seating for one companion next to the wheelchair space. All others must use the closest available seating area.

ADA Transportation
A free ADA golf cart shuttle is available through Guest Services to transport patrons with disabilities from all ADA accessible parking areas throughout the facility to the grandstand's admission gates. You are not allowed to bring your own golf cart or similar mode of transportation onto our property (this does not include electric convenience vehicles (“ECV”)). While we would like to transport everyone in your party, space and time is limited. We are only able to transport the patron with the disability and one companion. Guest Services Volunteers transfer patrons as quickly and safely as possible. Please be patient. Thank you.

Race Day Suggestions

All of our events at Memphis Motorsports Park continue to experience tremendous growth. As we continue to expand, you can assist us in making your visit more enjoyable by adhering to the following suggestions.

  • Arrive at the park a minimum of one (1) hour prior to race time to allow for sufficient time to park and travel to your seat.
  • Become a Season Ticket Holder and receive the red carpet treatment on race day: exclusive Preferred Parking, first choice of reserved seats, free Fan Walk pass, and many other great perks.
  • When approaching the park, pay close attention to the directional and informational signs to make sure that there have not been any last-minute changes, particularly if the area has recently experienced inclement weather.
  • We have made many major improvements to our operation and facility. Physically and operationally, the park has improved dramatically over the past year. We hope you notice and enjoy these improvements.
